The Senior Digital Optimization Testing Manager delivers split (A/B) testing and personalization campaigns for T-Mobile Business digital channels and brands, driving incremental business value every day. This role partners with stakeholder teams to identify, prioritize, and execute customer experience improvements through iterative testing and measurement while driving all strategy and operations related to the creation, maintenance and operation of optimization & personalization activities across web campaigns. This includes, but is not limited to, providing strategic guidance for testing and personalization ideation, campaign feasibility, execution and sound testing methodology.
The Senior Digital Optimization Testing Manager provides consulting services to a variety of stakeholders as a subject matter expert in Digital Optimization, as well as in-depth test analysis and iterative recommendations. They are key participants in formulating and dissemination of optimization best practices, governance and process improvements for company wide A/B Testing practices.
In addition, the Senior Digital Optimization Manager is a leadership role in working cross-functionally on the scoping, creation, piloting, implementation and rollout of digital optimization capabilities, including but not limited to advanced targeting rules, automation, recommendations, and machine learning and process improvements for optimization and personalization programs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan optimization and personalization digital campaigns, including the definition of test strategy, goals, return on investment, sample size, and campaign duration in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders from across the organization.
- Implement personalization and A/B testing using Adobe Target. Monitor and provide results of optimization via Adobe Analytics and other reporting dashboards.
- Develop a testing roadmap to ensure campaigns are run on time and without conflict
- Be Responsible For A/B testing process from intake to feasibility to creation to analysis to results and recommendations.
- Proactively communicate status of projects and manage deliverable/launch expectations with all stakeholders.
- Collect and analyze data from multiple sources to evaluate success of optimization efforts, develop insights into customer behavior, and evaluate the efficiency of optimization campaigns.
- Communicate the results of optimization program to a broad audience of stakeholders and executives.
- Promote culture of testing and optimization within department and across the company.
- Evangelize the business value of Optimization/Personalization and its contributions to business goals and customer satisfaction.
- Drive process improvement across the organization with clearly articulated service level agreements and standardized practices as well as identify and deliver against opportunities for step-function change in delivery of our services.
- Proactively identify gaps/issues and work with business and technology partners to find solutions to issues.
- Optimization & Personalization subject matter experts for big-moment campaigns, site migrations, and new platform & architecture development
- Serve as a subject matter expert by maintaining a pulse on the latest issues, developments, and trends in Personalization and Digital Optimization to internal as well as external team members.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Marketing, UX/design or equivalent degree (Required)
- Advanced/Masters Degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics/Statistics, Marketing or equivalent (Preferred)
Work Experience:
- 7-10 years Experience in fast-paced, ever evolving, high-volume organization.
- 7-10 years Leading optimization projects from inception to completion for large scale e-commerce or content marketing sites.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Project Management: Ability to lead multiple projects in highly-matrixed organizations, often with competing priorities (Required)
- Optimization: Subject matter expertise in digital optimization methodology with solid understanding of statistics related to hypothesis testing - in particular, determining statistical relevance and confidence in results (Required)
- Analytics: Strong analytical skills to measure, manage, analyze and report on Key Performance Indicators with an ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate results and next steps clearly and compellingly (Required)
- Adobe Tools: Highly skilled in the practical application of enterprise-wide Web Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, as well as a comprehensive understanding of Targeting capabilities in Optimization tools with solid understanding of DMP such as Adobe Audience Manager (Required)
- Adobe Target: Advanced knowledge of Digital Optimization A/B testing tools (Adobe Target preferred.) (Required)
- Salesforce: Familiar with Salesforce platform and personalization tools including Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Preferred)
- Web Experience: Experience working with websites (required), social media and e-mail campaign platforms; Strong knowledge of digital marketing or e-commerce (required) (Preferred)
- Web Development Comfortable with web basics such as JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Angular, and HTML; Able to troubleshoot using Browser Developer tools (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $105,000 - $189,300
Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
