Hourly Pay Range:

$17.00 - $25.50 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Licensed Massage Therapist
  • Location: Seven Bridges Fitness Center Spa - Woodridge, IL, Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL, and Elmhurst Hospital - Elmhurst, IL
  • Part-Time | 8 hours/week
  • Hours: Sunday through Wednesday 9:00am-2:00pm or 2:00pm-7:00pm (will need flexibility to work evening shifts and weekends as needed)

What you will do:

  • Perform high-quality massage therapy services, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and other techniques as needed.
  • Work with clients to assess their needs and recommend the appropriate massage techniques, which couldinclude deep tissue and Swedish techniques and provide effective treatment to help them achieve their wellness goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
  • Educate clients about the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care techniques to help them maintain their progress.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in training and continuing education opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills as a massage therapist.
  • Comply with all state and local laws and regulations regarding massage therapy, including maintaining an active Illinois massage therapy license.

What you will need:

  • License: Current Illinois state massage therapy license, required.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Oher Special Skills: Knowledge of a variety of massage therapy techniques and their applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform massage therapy treatments for extended periods of time.
