Warehouse Operator I Alcon is looking to hire a Warehouse Operator I to join our Material Distribution Team at Houston Texas in US. You will be responsible for receiving /inspecting goods and verifying items against the shipment record. You will also be gathering, verifying, and packing items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method. Key Responsibilities: Recording received and shipped items Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties which may require the use of hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices, as well as computers to maintain data. Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials; prepares records of materials shipped and bills of lading; routes materials to destinations. May lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes, and prepare parts and tooling for special shipment. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English Work hours: 2^nd Shift (10 hours) Monday-Thursday - 4:00PM-2:30AM Travel Requirements: None Relocation assistance: No Sponsorship available: No
