Number of Job Openings Available: 1 Date Posted: December 26, 2024 Department: 31005006 AHMHI CV/EP Labs MPLS Shift: Day/Evening (United States of America) Shift Length: 10 hour shift Hours Per Week: 40 Union Contract: SEIU-5-Abbott Northwestern Technical-TAN Weekend Rotation: Other Job Summary: Performs and assists with procedures in diagnostic and interventional radiology, for cardiovascular, peripheral endovascular and structural heart procedures, both monitoring and scrubbing, under the direction of the radiologist. Provides timely and quality services to patients, following radiology department policies to maintain a safe, efficient and economical environment. Interacts with patients to welcome, explain and respond to questions and concerns during and following the procedure. Key Position Details: Cardiovascular lab specific. Full time, day shift position scheduled from 7:00a-5:30p with occasional weekend call rotation. SEIU- represented, benefit-eligible position. Job Description: Principle Responsibilities Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines Identifies patient with two identifiers. Documents accurately all needed aspects of the procedure. Observes and communicates with patient, responding to needs. Maintains safe patient environment in procedure area. Performs procedures with high degree of accuracy Demonstrates appropriate knowledge of all diagnostic equipment. Maintains proficiency in monitoring, circulating and scrub role, anticipating MD needs. Gathers all relevant information to assist in interpretation of images. Verifies all imaging has appropriately transferred to imaging storage and retrieval system. Provides accurate clerical function Uses Excellian (electronic medical record). Understands the storage and retrieval system. Ensures all documentation is complete post procedure. Communicates with supervisor and team Reports problems, issues or ideas. Provides assistance, ideas and information to support the work of others. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Vocational or Technical Training graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology required Registered Technologist - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required registered upon hire BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required upon hire and ACLSBLS2AH required within 180 Days Physical Demands Medium Work: Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequently Pay Range Pay Range: $39.07 to $54.90 per hour The pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
