Join Cottage Health as a Chemical Dependency Technician. The Chemical Dependency Technician facilitates the care of patients in the CD Residential program by performing documentation, intake, discharge, and administrative procedures. Interacts daily with residents throughout their treatment process and assists with gathering data. QUALIFICATIONS All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Minimum: Valid California Driver License and ability to be insured by CH to transport residents. American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) or American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS). TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Minimum: Minimum of 2 years sobriety, if applicable. YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum: One (1) year chemical dependency or related experience. Related experience can include but not be limited to work in the field of psychology, research or education.
