This position will be based in Springfield TN.

All about the role:

The Manufacturing Engineer - Robotics Expert will be part of Plant ME and Maintenance team. You will lead Industrial and Automations projects since the design and planning by implementation and delivery. You will support maintenance on preventive and corrective maintenance on robots and automations, being responsible to keep the assets on high performance production (productivity and reliability).

You work with industrial networks and communication M2M. In addition, programing and maintain the correct versions of automations and robot stations will be additional responsibility.

You will an individual contributor, working in collaboration and teamwork across the organization like Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and others.

What you'll do:

  • Supports the engineering function in standard practices for automation and robotic, as well as project, design, planning and implementation on the factory.

  • Support site cross-functional and cross site ME and Maintenance teams for Preventive and Predictive maintenance and automation programs updated.

  • Support the maintenance team and factory leadership with Capex and Opex information.

  • Work directly to improve time to repair and reliability of automations and robotics.

  • Define Preventive, Predictive plan and spare parts for automations and robots.

  • Lead program/coding improvements.

Qualifications and preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automations and robotics to high-volume manufacturing, fast cycle times.

  • Be familiar with Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering activities.

  • Previous project automations experience.

  • Previous experience in Major Appliance industry or Automotive segment.

  • Industrial Network and PLC programming advanced.
