Operational Research Analyst

This position is a(n) Exempt position, supporting the 16 AF SPPFS. The Operations Research Analyst supports missions and functions for 16 AF Service needs and Air Forces Cyber (AFCYBER).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Provides technical, analytical, and support services, including analysis and evaluation of plans, programs, in relation to published guidance, DoD and USAF strategic objectives, and published guidance and policies for national, OSD, Joint, and USAF.
• Performs analysis in taking into account the secondary and tertiary implications, projected threats, Joint contributions, estimated costs, and resource constraints in relation to USAF or CCMD programs, concepts, requirements, doctrine, alternatives, orders, and technical risk.

• 7+ years of experience working in operations research, systems analysis, or management sciences
• 8 years of experience working as an operations research analyst in the DoD.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS-SCI clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• Certified as defined by DODI 8570 at a level appropriate to skill level.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
