Direct Support Professional in Carson City - $16 hour

Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans.

Accessible Space Inc. is currently seeking part time Direct Support Professionals / Resident Assistants in Carson City to assist adults with physical disabilities with personal cares, as well as offer encouragement and support. $16.00 hour!!

In this role you will assist with activities of daily living (transfers, grooming, bathing, dressing, etc.), ensure that residents receive proper medication, prepare meals, and any other necessary job duties to meet the needs and improve the quality of life for the individuals we serve. Our goal is to support our residents' desire to live an independent lifestyle!

You will receive a $16.00 starting wage with daily pay, scheduled raises and part time benefit package, life insurance, paid time off, wellness rebates, one week of PAID classroom orientation including first aid and CPR, and the opportunity to make a real difference - every day!

You're qualified for this position if you have effective verbal and written English communication skills, the ability to problem solve, the ability to perform job functions with little supervision, a sense of caring and the desire to make a difference, and can pass a criminal background check.
