Unit Overview Cooper University Health Care's Trauma Program is a high-volume, multidisciplinary service dedicated to providing comprehensive care for injured and critically ill patients. As part of a nationally recognized trauma center, the Trauma Surgery team collaborates closely with Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Surgical Subspecialties, Advanced Practice Providers, Nursing, and Rehabilitation Services to deliver 24/7 trauma and emergency general surgery coverage. The division is committed to excellence in patient care, education, quality improvement, and trauma center verification standards. Short Description The Trauma Surgeon provides comprehensive trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care services for patients with acute injuries and surgical emergencies.
