Senior Customer Service Representative- HME Access- Portland, Oregon

Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, M-F (8:00am to 5:00pm)

The Associate Customer Service Representative is the primary point for all Home Services Business Office and HME Access Services staff to refer patient insurance change requests. The position's primary responsibility is to ensure that all identified patient account insurance changes are properly completed in the HME transaction system. This position supports the timely and successful completion of HME orders and proper billing by ensuring accuracy in insurance coverage on each order.

Required qualifications:



  • 2 years of Customer service experience. 3 yrs preferred


Preferred qualifications:



  • Associate degree or bachelor's Degree
  • Upon hire: Medical Terminology and Medical Coding certification
  • 1 year of experience as a HME Care Specialist with concentration in Order Qualification and one other HME specialty team, or equivalent durable medical equipment industry experience.

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
