Pay: $17.28-19.92/hr plus $1 - 1.50/hr shift differential

Shifts Monday - Friday starting at 3AM & 12PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pass Amy's basic math and Literacy Test successfully
  • Follow batch sheet recipes exactly as shown.
  • Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual and dependable.
  • Understand and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • All food safety practices must be always followed.
  • Assist in producing high-quality frozen and convenience foods.
  • Take proper precautions and use all equipment safely; notify Leadership when issues arise.
  • Flexible to work full time on days, evenings, overnights, rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

It is the responsibility of all employees to uphold the mission of the Amy's Food Safety and Quality Policy. This includes following all Food Safety and Sustainability programs and participating in all required training.



Qualifications and Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Recent experience with physically demanding job duties including consistent heavy lifting (Construction or Farming as an example)
  • High-level attention to detail.
  • General Labor experience.
  • Manufacturing, Warehouse or Distribution experience in food industriesis considered an asset.
  • Experience working in kitchens or bakeries is considered an asset.
  • Mechanical, equipment and process knowledge is considered an asset.

Individuals must be able to do physical work for 8-10-hour shifts, on their feet. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The work environment may be very hot, very cold, and/or very humid. The noise level is high. Employees may frequently be required to walk on wet floors.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands for dexterous tasks; reach; and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and assist in team lifts over 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus.
