RelaDyne is seeking an experienced Commercial Sales Manager - Emergency Services to lead sales strategy and business development for our growing emergency response and specialty services business.

This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, strengthening customer relationships, and developing a high-performing sales team focused on emergency fuel delivery, disaster response, backup power, environmental services, and other critical emergency solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Business Development




  • Lead and execute regional and national sales strategies to grow RelaDyne's Emergency Services business.



  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing sales team.



  • Drive new customer acquisition, account expansion, cross-selling, and customer retention.



  • Develop relationships with key customers and strategic partners at the executive level.



  • Identify and pursue opportunities across healthcare, utilities, telecommunications, data centers, transportation, municipalities, government, manufacturing, and commercial facilities.



  • Participate in customer presentations, contract negotiations, bids, proposals, and major account strategies.



  • Develop strategies to strengthen customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.




Team Leadership & Performance




  • Establish clear sales expectations and hold team members accountable for revenue, margin, gross profit, and customer acquisition goals.



  • Conduct regular coaching, training, and joint sales calls.



  • Mentor sales team members on consultative selling, emergency preparedness, contract management, and solution-based sales.



  • Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct annual performance reviews.



  • Address performance issues and develop improvement plans when necessary.




Operations & Strategic Collaboration




  • Partner with Operations to ensure sales commitments align with service capabilities, resources, and emergency response readiness.



  • Collaborate with Marketing, Pricing, Procurement, Logistics, and other departments to support growth and profitability.



  • Assist customers with emergency response and preparedness planning.



  • Help develop standardized proposals, contracts, sales processes, and emergency response service agreements.




Sales Analytics & Financial Management




  • Develop sales forecasts, pipeline reports, territory plans, and performance metrics.



  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging customer needs.



  • Analyze revenue, margin, profitability, customer retention, and service utilization.



  • Ensure accurate CRM usage, opportunity tracking, and pipeline management.



  • Present business reviews, forecasts, and growth strategies to executive leadership.



  • Manage performance against sales, margin, gross profit, and expense objectives.



  • Support annual budgeting, sales planning, territory alignment, pricing, and profitability initiatives.




Emergency Response & Other Responsibilities




  • Represent RelaDyne professionally at customer meetings, industry events, conferences, and emergency preparedness organizations.



  • Support mergers, acquisitions, integration activities, and other corporate initiatives as assigned.



  • Travel as needed to support customers, sales activities, and team leadership.



  • Be available to work extended hours during emergency response events, natural disasters, customer outages, and other critical situations.




Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.



  • 5+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in emergency services, industrial services, fuel distribution, energy, power generation, environmental services, logistics, or a related industry.



  • Proven success leading sales teams and achieving revenue and profitability objectives.



  • Strong understanding of emergency response, fuel supply continuity, disaster recovery, critical infrastructure, or related services.



  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic customer relationships and negotiate complex service agreements.



  • Strong financial and business acumen, including the ability to understand revenue, margin, profitability, and performance metrics.



  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, Sage CRM, or similar systems.



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.



  • Experience with Power BI or other sales analytics tools preferred.



  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.



  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.



  • Ability to lead effectively in a matrixed organization and collaborate across departments.



  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, particularly during emergency events.
