Job Duties

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport products to customer locations.
• Load, unload, and secure paper products and other materials for delivery.
• Verify orders, invoices, and delivery paperwork for accuracy.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Obtain customer signatures and document completed deliveries.
• Inspect the delivery vehicle before and after each route and report maintenance issues.
• Follow all company safety procedures, traffic laws, and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with customers, warehouse personnel, and management.
• Assist with warehouse duties, including staging, organizing, and preparing orders, as needed.
• Qualifications:

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license required. Commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required depending on the position.

Experience Requirements

• Safe driving history with a strong commitment to defensive driving practices.
• Ability to inspect vehicles, identify safety concerns, and complete required documentation.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and proper cargo securement when applicable.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules.
• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Valid driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• Clean or acceptable driving record, subject to company requirements.
• Previous delivery driving or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to read delivery tickets, invoices, and shipping documents.
• Strong customer service, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move products as required.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and meet delivery deadlines.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous professional driving, delivery, transportation, or logistics experience is preferred.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles, delivery trucks, box trucks, or tractor-trailers is beneficial depending on the assignment.
• Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs), GPS navigation, routing software, or transportation documentation is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate dependability, professionalism, and a commitment to safety are well positioned for success as a Delivery Driver.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit for extended periods while safely operating a vehicle.
• Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift, move, or secure freight and materials when required by the assignment.
• Ability to perform vehicle inspections and work safely in varying weather and road conditions.
