Overview Gradient, a Geosyntec Company, is seeking a motivated, experienced and resourceful Senior Scientist to work remote out of their home office in Beltsville, MD supporting our Boston, MA office. The Senior Scientist will contribute to, lead and develop work in the areas of human health risk, chemical hazard assessment, product safety, and regulatory support. The candidate is expected to work independently and collaboratively with scientists in several disciplines (e.g., toxicology, epidemiology, exposure science, human health risk assessment, industrial hygiene, chemistry, and engineering) and should enjoy fast-paced, technically challenging consulting work. Strong candidates will have experience developing and applying toxicological evidence to support systematic review, weight-of-evidence evaluation, regulatory comment, litigation support, product safety assessments, and human health risk assessment in the fields of environmental, dietary, pharmaceutical, pesticide, occupational, and consumer product toxicology. The successful candidate will also be expected to actively engage in business development, cultivate and expand client relationships, and help develop new opportunities and clients that support the continued growth of Gradient's risk sciences practice.
