SUMMARY:

This is a non-clinical position and does not require a medical license or certification.

Laukoa is currently seeking Event Administrative Support staff to support Periodic Health Assessment (PHA) events located throughout the State of New York for the New York Army National Guard (NYARNG). Work is primarily on weekends, with some occasional weekdays, at varying sites throughout New York. All work is on a part-time, "as needed" basis.

Event Administrative Support staff assist with Service Member check-in and check-out, administrative processing, records and packet management, event tracking, and patient flow.

Hourly Pay: $23.26 Plus Travel Expenses

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Support Periodic Health Assessment (PHA) events for NYARNG Service Members
  • Check in Service Members and verify identity, appointment, and roster information
  • Distribute and collect PHA/SRP packets and other event documentation
  • Track Service Members throughout the event and assist with routing them to required stations
  • Maintain accurate event rosters, tracking information, and administrative records
  • Assist with Service Member check-out and collection of completed event documentation
  • Organize, file, retrieve, and safeguard Service Member records and event documentation
  • Provide professional front-desk and customer service support to Service Members and event personnel
  • Assist the Event Coordinator or Event Manager with general administrative and event support as assigned
  • Safeguard all Service Member information by keeping written and verbal communication confidential and discreet
  • Ensure all actions comply with HIPAA and other applicable federal and state requirements
  • Complete required training and follow applicable contractual requirements stipulated by the client and Laukoa


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous administrative, receptionist, front desk, customer service, or office support experience preferred
  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments with large volumes of Service Members seen daily
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience interacting with diverse populations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Able to learn event-specific processes, documentation requirements, and medical readiness terminology
  • Able to accurately handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Must be collaborative, dependable, and solutions oriented
  • Able to work at various locations throughout New York State, including military installations
  • Must be able to successfully pass required background checks and meet installation access requirements
  • Ability to work for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
  • Experience working in a military, healthcare administrative, medical office, or medical readiness environment preferred, but not required
