Title: Analyst - Workforce Development and Education $64,105.60 - $93,683.20 / Posted Thru: 10/9/2026 Location: Hybrid - Must work and live in the state of Michigan Purpose: This position functions as a coordination analyst within the Access, Workforce Development and Education Section with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), Bureau of Children's Coordinated Health Policy and Supports primarily supporting work related to the Michigan Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (MichiCANS) tool and Michigan Intensive Child and Adolescent Services (MICAS) workforce development needs of the bureau. The position will assist with analyst duties for the section, including, but not limited to, coordination of projects, scheduling, high level data analysis, presentations and creation of advanced Excel documents to support bureau functions. This position will also support the section with a range of activities, including analyzing ways to address challenges that arise with section initiatives and providing suggestions based on analysis; participating in bureau and department meetings and workgroups to support section work; communicating with internal and external partners to support project implementation; collaborating on policy and program development; and working with the bureau's data team to assist with data analysis as needed. Qualifications/Requirements: Education: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in any major is required. Experience: Minimum of three years of professional experience working with child-serving systems; experience with initiatives focused on addressing the behavioral health needs of children. Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Physical effort will be typical of an office position. The employee could be exposed to local weather conditions at public events.
