Summary/Objective

The Inventory Coordinator is a key member of the Operations Team responsible for all aspects of inventory control; to include receiving, shipping, accounting for movement and shrinkage.

Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
  • Must lead and manage daily cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy. Provide management detailed description and analysis of findings.

  • Must lead and manage all EOM cycle counts which will be on a Saturday or a Sunday. (Will lead support personnel during this count). Must verify and confirm all counts and submit to accounting within the prescribed timeline.

  • Must reconcile all discrepancies and adjust inventory accordingly.

  • Must research all discrepancies and provide analysis through Microsoft Office tools or other reporting tools to Management.

  • Calculate and record inventory transactions dealing with product rework.

  • Research and count zero picks. Provide analysis through Microsoft Office tools or other reporting tools to Management. Adjust inventory as necessary.

  • Research and count close/out of date product. Adjust inventory as necessary.

  • Manage closed dated process weekly and report to Operations Management to ensure timely shipments of close dated product.

  • Must complete a full cycle count of the warehouse for both finished and raw goods, once per month.

  • Perform daily cycle counts of full and raw goods. Adjust inventory accordingly.

  • Verify BOLs, inventory transaction reports and loading reports for accuracy.

  • Verify BOLs against billings.

  • Manage inventory transfers between warehouses to include RMA cycle counts into inventory, from division, and out of inventory if product is damaged.

  • Resolve any inventory discrepancies with appropriate parties.

  • Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and observing safety rules.

  • Required to complete other activities assigned by supervisor.

Other Duties and Responsibilities
  • Must exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off-site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company.

  • Responsible for continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other provided method. Must successfully complete assigned training curriculum, including but not limited to online and/or facilitated training.

  • Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect the Company from possible damage, theft, or other liabilities.
