Description
Primary Purpose: Serves as a key partner to the Merchant Service Advisor team, supporting new business onboarding and ongoing relationship management. Provides administrative and analytical support to the Director of Merchant Services. The good-faith compensation range for this role is expected to be $52,000.00 to $65,000.00 annually based on the role, market, internal equity, and candidate qualifications. Essential Responsibilities:
- Partners with Merchant Service Advisors to prepare, review, and process merchant services documentation, including contract details for new merchant relationships and maintenance updates for existing services.
- Assists the Director of Merchant Services with monthly reporting, data analysis and research, sales promotion materials, and other administrative or departmental initiatives as needed.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date pipelines tracking vendor proposal requests, relationship updates, and application activity.
- Creates, updates, and maintains forms and documents using Adobe Acrobat/PDF tools.
- Coordinates the delivery and processing of maintenance and update documentation for merchant members.
- Assists with scheduling meetings and preparing PowerPoint presentations, proposals, and other sales support materials.
- Takes ownership of follow-up activities and resolution of issues escalated to the MSA, collaborating with Support and other internal departments as necessary.
- Maintains organized electronic filing and imaging of documents in accordance with established procedures.
- Manages the Request for Proposal (RFP) database and supports MSAs in the completion and submission of RFP responses.
- Conducts product research and gathers information to support sales and relationship management activities as needed.
- Participates in ongoing sales team training and professional development related to merchant services products and solutions.
- Maintains a working knowledge of applicable procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry guidelines.
- Demonstrates an understanding of operational risks and associated controls and processes.
- Complies with all applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations, including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong skillset in Excel for report generation
- Proficient in the use of MS Office; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proficient in the use of Canva or a similar system
- Associate's degree and/or relevant work experience
- Detail oriented with strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and well under pressure

- Previous experience in Merchant Services
- Previous experience in Banking
- Previous experience with SharePoint
- Previous experience with Canva
- Previous experience with Docusign or similar system
- Previous experience or knowledge of Power BI
- Experience collaborating with multiple departments

Physical Requirements:
- Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
