About the opportunity

Do you love turning complex ideas into clear, compelling visuals that help win work?

At SWCA, the Pursuit Graphic Designer plays a key role in transforming complex information into compelling visual communications that make our proposals and client presentations easier to understand, more compelling, and make a memorable impact. Working across pursuits in water resources and energy and infrastructure to habitat restoration and cultural resources, you'll use your creative expertise to help clients quickly understand our approach, trust our expertise, and recognize why SWCA is the right partner for their project.

This role is for a designer who sees visual storytelling as a strategic part of the pursuit process. You'll work closely with a national team of proposal professionals, technical experts and client-focused leaders to understand what matters most to the client, identify the story we need to tell, and translate complex ideas into persuasive visual communications.

Your work may include infographics, data visualizations, proposal layouts, organizational graphics, process diagrams, maps, interview client presentations, or interactive marketing materials. Whether you're simplifying a complicated technical approach, highlighting the experience of a project team, or helping bring a win strategy to life, your design work will help make our proposals easier to understand, more memorable, and more competitive.

The role is a full-time position reporting to the Creative Services Manager. We offer flexibility to work remotely, in a hybrid capacity, or from an SWCA office. Candidates residing in the Midwest region are preferred, though qualified applicants from other locations will be considered.

A cover letter and portfolio showcasing your design experience in various media must accompany your resume. We're specifically looking for examples of content-rich design work that demonstrate strong layout, infographics, presentations, data visualizations or other technical communications. We will not consider applications without these materials.

Application Deadline: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and interviews may be scheduled as qualified candidates are identified. This position may close without prior notice once a strong candidate pool is established.
