Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Sampling of raw materials, including completion of associated documentation and inventory transactions following applicable SOPs, GMPs, and SDSs.
  • Sampling and testing of componentry, including completion of associated documentation and inventory transactions following applicable SOPs and GMPs.
  • Review and assess a material's associated vendor/manufacture documentation to ensure quality compliance with internal requirements.
  • Coordinate outside testing for raw materials.
  • Identify questionable materials and assist in investigations of non-compliant materials to include identification of root cause and perform associated investigation/CAPA activities, as applicable.
  • Perform inventory tasks for sample deduction, internal storage/warehouse movements for raw materials, etc.
  • Communicate with various internal departments to schedule sampling priorities and complete non-routine sampling requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Training/Work Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience in sampling and incoming labeling / testing in a pharmaceutical environment preferred.
  • Experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Applications, Inventory Control, SAP, and Veeva Vault.

Work Environment and Physical Demands (List required PPE's):

  • Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to wear a respirator.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain issues forklift and pallet jack certification.
