Position Title: CNC Machinist

Wage: $30.00-$34.00/hour + $1.50/hour shift premium

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3:30pm-2:00am Monday-Thursday

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a 2nd-shift manufacturing opportunity in Racine, WI. This position requires hands-on experience setting up and programming Haas CNC Vertical Mills and Lathes. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently from blueprints, performing machine setups and programming, making adjustments, and producing precision machined components that meet quality specifications.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Set up, program, and operate Haas CNC Vertical Mills and Lathes

- Perform complete machine setups, including tooling and workholding

- Create and modify CNC programs as needed

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

- Determine appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining processes

- Perform offsets and make machine adjustments to maintain specifications

- Inspect completed parts for dimensional accuracy and quality

- Use precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges

- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and setup issues

- Complete first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments

- Maintain consistent quality and productivity standards

- Follow all safety and manufacturing procedures

CNC Machinist Requirements:

- Previous CNC machining experience required

- Experience setting up and programming Haas CNC equipment

- Experience with Vertical Mills and CNC Lathes

- Strong machine setup skills

- CNC programming experience required

- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills

- Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, speeds, and feeds

- Ability to work with tight tolerances

- Experience using precision measuring equipment

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
