    Scheduled Hours/Days: Approx 3 hours/day; Friday mornings

    Qualifications:
    - Current Minnesota K-12 teaching license
    - Experience working with adult English language learners
    - Strong instructional, communication, and technology skills
    - Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for adult students from diverse backgrounds

    Pay Rate/Range: 2026-2027 NEA Agreement BA-$57,681 - MA40-$95,320. Base pay DOQ.

    Compensation/Benefits/Perks: This position is not eligible for benefits.

    Responsibilities:

    • - Plan and teach a weekly Introduction to Computers course to help adult learners build foundational digital literacy skills for work, education, and daily life
    • - Use, develop, and adapt curriculum and resources aligned with Northstar Digital Literacy standards to meet student needs and skill levels
    • - Provide instruction in essential computer and digital literacy skills, including basic computer skills, internet basics, email, keyboarding, file management, and common software and online tools
    • - Help students apply digital literacy skills to everyday tasks such as communicating online, completing forms and applications, accessing information, and searching for employment
    • - Use Northstar Digital Literacy assessments and other appropriate tools to identify student needs, monitor progress, and support students in building confidence and independence with technology
