What you will enjoy doing* Role location: Pasco, WA
- You will perform hub operator and driver duties approximately 50/50 based on business needs, including safe unloading of CO2 from railcars and supporting loading/unloading activities
- Start up, shut down, monitor, and operate production processes while conducting routine inspections of storage tanks and process equipment such as gauges, compressors, pumps, and control valves
- Diagnose equipment conditions, perform necessary repairs or replacements using hand and power tools, and collaborate with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot defective equipment and electrical components
- You will use technical manuals, drawings, and schematics to operate and maintain equipment, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, testing, and regulatory standards including Linde GMP policies
- Safely operate local route delivery vehicles, provide high-quality customer service including unloading and moving products, and accurately document product quantities and hazardous materials shipping papers in line with regulations
- You will need to conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, identify maintenance needs, and follow computer-generated route and delivery plans using handheld computers for documentation
- Communicate regularly with internal and external customers, respond to customer needs, and maintain a clean, organized work environment while performing daily outdoor work in all weather conditions using required personal protective equipment
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and irregular hours, and perform additional duties as assigned to meet business demands and ensure operational efficiency
- You will deliver to industrial, service, educational, and medical customers while performing physical tasks such as loading, unloading, climbing, and operating hub and delivery equipment
- Ensure safe hub and distribution operations with a strong focus on customer service, regulatory compliance, and adapting to changing priorities based on production, delivery, and business needs
What makes you great
- You hold a high School Diploma or GED is required, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with current Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire, and must be 21 years or older
- You need two years of driving experience or completion of a truck driver training course using similar equipment, with no preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two years
- You will have the ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical and hold a current medical examiner's certificate
- Three or more years of general manufacturing or maintenance experience preferred, with completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent combination of work experience and technical training
- Associate degree from a technical school is considered a plus, alongside strong computer literacy including proficiency with Microsoft applications and handheld devices
- Mechanical, instrumentation, troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills, or demonstrated ability to develop these skills
- You are self-motivated, reliable, organized, respectful, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively in a team environment
