Location: Lynchburg, TN

Pay Rate: $16.23 - $16.47 per hour

Schedule: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, rotating Monday-Friday

Job Duties



  • Performs a variety of duties on and off the bottling line in the bottling department.
  • Prepares and inspects filled whiskey bottles for packing and shipping.
  • Operates all equipment on the bottling lines and fills in for other operators as needed.
  • Performs specific special online processes such as hand application of tags, corks, strip stamps, and shrink bands as well as cartooning.
  • Performs off-line work, which includes but is not limited to hand wrapping, hand packing, inspection, and cleaning.
  • Reworks non-conforming product.
  • Completes training to back up to any assigned bottling position such as inspector, depal, decaser, labeler, strip stamp operator, and others.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.



Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.



Experience Requirements



  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn to operate computerized equipment
  • Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
  • Able to read, write and perform basic math functions so as to complete necessary reports
  • Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Must have good eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity in order to manipulate cartons, bottles, stickers, labels and other production supplies
  • Candidates must be willing to learn and capable of conforming to hygiene and sanitation requirements as described in the Brown-Forman Housekeeping and Sanitation Manual.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous warehouse or production experience is preferred!
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Bottling Associate.



Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Abliity to frequently lift, move and carry cases of product and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
