Export Coordinator

This position is responsible in supporting the export team in sales administration and documentation

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Supports the sales administration team with export-related accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies

• Assists with coordinating with the finance team to ensure proper application of customer payments and accurate financial reporting

• Assist in preparing and processing essential shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices and country specific documents required for international shipping

• Assists with processing accounts payable invoices related to finished goods and export transactions

• Assists the export documentation team as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or degree in administration

• 1+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• International shipping experience. Containers primarily

• In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications

• High attention to detail

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

• Position is based in an office environment
• Requires prolonged sitting and movement throughout office/work locations, as well as occasional use of computers and office equipment.
• Must occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb or balance.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and identify potential workplace hazards.
• Requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10lbs.
