  • Coordinate with regional sales and operations teams to support multi-site customers, maintain consistent service commitments, and expand relationships across campuses and markets.
  • Provide a complete handoff to project teams, including customer expectations, contracted scope, milestones, documentation requirements, and site access constraints.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, help resolve commercial issues with project and operations leaders, and turn successful projects into repeat business.

Market Development and Sales Planning

  • Represent the company at data center industry events, customer meetings, and trade associations; partner with marketing on materials that explain the value of independent electrical testing and qualified technical personnel.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, account plans, opportunity stages, proposal activity, and forecasts. Contribute to budgets and revenue, bookings, and gross margin goals.
  • Review pipeline quality, win rates, account growth, and profitability with leadership; adjust sales priorities based on results.
  • At least 3 years of sales or industry experience in electrical testing, electrical power systems, technical field services, or a related engineering services business.
  • Demonstrated success acquiring, retaining, and expanding customer accounts and managing complex technical sales from qualification through contract award.
  • Working knowledge of electrical distribution equipment and the ability to read one-line diagrams, interpret project specifications, and discuss testing scopes with technical teams.
  • Familiarity with NETA acceptance and maintenance testing requirements and their application to new and existing electrical installations.
  • Strong proposal development, negotiation, account planning, forecasting, and territory management skills.
  • Effective communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and collaborate across sales, estimating, engineering, and operations.
  • Experience with CRM systems, estimating or quoting platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling electrical testing or commissioning services for data centers or other mission critical facilities.
  • Established relationships with data center owners, electrical contractors, general contractors, engineering firms, or commissioning providers.
