Astrion has an exciting opportunity fora Communication Electrical Engineer for remote support to Space System Development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related experience
  • Space System Communication Systems and Electrical proficiency
  • End to End Space System Experience implementing testing and flying - RF Comm Systems
  • Space System Engineering aptitude
  • Must be flexible in adapting to deadlines, changing schedules, competing priorities, and unpredictable events
  • Familiar with and able to present data and recommendations to a large audience
  • Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and handlemultipleprojects at once
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and independent thinker with out-of-the-box ideas
  • Comm expertise in RF

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Comm expertise IN Laser Communication
  • Demonstratedproficiencywith management of tactical and strategic communications, marketing, and development of work products
  • Exceptional customer relationship management highly desirable

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Subject Matter Expert for Space System Comm Systems
  • Supporting Design, Analysis, Integration and Testing of Comm Systems Management role with oversight of multiple task orders or a single program and multiple staff members.
  • Some travel may berequired.CONUS and OCONUS (NL)
  • Supporting the Assy Integration and Testing of Complete Space Vehicle - Comm System
  • Support Developed of Comm Test beds and support EM/EDU Com System Testing.
  • Support European Space Agency Space System Frequency Allocation
  • Ad-hoc support asrequired.
