The Chair will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Department and will be responsible for advancing its missions in research, education, clinical care, and service. The successful candidate will build upon the Department's existing strengths, guide its continued growth and development, and identify new opportunities for innovation and collaboration across UCSF, UCSF Health, and beyond. Qualifications The Chair will be expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, collaboration, and accountability while advancing the missions of the Department, the UCSF School of Medicine, and UCSF. About the UCSF School of Medicine The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $156,300 - $460,700. Total compensation at the University of California, San Francisco includes your base salary, which is determined by your rank and step at appointment, and negotiated pay for Health Sciences Compensation Plan members.
