Job Description

We are seeking an Administrative Program Coordinator to coordinate and support key business operations across the School. This position serves as a central resource for administrative functions including budgeting, financial transactions, procurement, contracts, human resources coordination, and operational initiatives. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the University.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate operational and administrative activities related to budgeting, finance, human resources, procurement, and contracts.
  • Manage a variety of business transactions by preparing, processing, tracking, and maintaining financial and administrative records.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the Bloch School and University partners, including Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, and other campus offices, helping ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Work directly with faculty, staff, and leadership to identify solutions, answer questions, and support administrative needs across the School.
  • Monitor workflows, timelines, and documentation to ensure compliance with University policies and procedures.
  • Support special projects and operational initiatives by coordinating activities, organizing information, tracking progress, and assisting with implementation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, increase efficiency, and improve service delivery.
Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and one (1) year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three (3) or more years of experience coordinating and implementing administrative processes within a complex organization.
  • Experience supporting accounting, finance, budgeting, procurement, contracts, or related business operations, preferably in a higher education environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience using spreadsheets to track, analyze, and reconcile financial information.
  • Demonstrated organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate with colleagues, university administrative offices, external partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and administrative guidelines while exercising sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply university administrative policies, procedures, and systems related to contracting, human resources, finance, procurement, and event coordination, exercising sound judgment to resolve routine issues and escalate complex matters as appropriate.
Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as up to $26.00 per hour.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
