General Job Description: The Construction Support Specialist - Field operates with autonomy and construction operations experience to provide comprehensive administrative relief to field leadership, independently managing project-specific support workflows, driving weekly timecard completion, partnering with Safety on certification tracking, and optimizing Box project documentation consistency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the end-to-end timecard collection, verification, and superintendent sign-off process across assigned projects, ensuring 100% submission compliance prior to weekly deadlines.
- Independently manages and prioritizes project-specific support tasks across multiple jobsites, anticipating superintendent administrative needs to remove operational bottlenecks.
- Audits, compiles, and reconciles field-level labor data and compliance documentation required for monthly Equality Funds and Market Recovery program submittals.
- Partners with field leadership to systematically review, organize, and audit Box project folder structures to ensure strict regional consistency and document accessibility.
- Proactively monitors safety certification compliance for all project craft personnel, identifies upcoming expirations, and leads recertification coordination and training logistics in collaboration with the Safety Team.
- Facilitates in-person Day 1 onboarding orientations for craft new hires, verifying complete digital intake packet completion on provisioned iPads and confirming site orientation checklists.
- Assists the Construction Support Specialist - Technical Operations with the regional iPad asset pool, including tracking assignments and coordinating physical hardware swaps.
- Provides hands-on training and troubleshooting support to field leadership on construction operations software and mobile timekeeping applications.
- Identifies recurring field administrative bottlenecks and submits actionable feedback and draft workflow improvements to the Lead and Supervisor.

Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; an Associate or Bachelor degree in construction management, business, or related discipline is preferred.
- 3 to 5+ years of progressive administrative experience directly supporting commercial construction operations, specialty trade contracting, or engineering project teams.
- Demonstrated capability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision, proactively anticipating superintendent administrative requirements and resolving operational roadblocks.
- Strong proficiency with electronic timekeeping systems, cloud file storage (Box), spreadsheet data analysis (Excel), and mobile workflow tools.
- Solid understanding of construction field operations, trade craft labor classifications, and jobsite safety documentation standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-management skills, with the ability to communicate assertively and collaboratively with field crews, general superintendents, and project executives.
- Able to demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance.
- Able to learn new programs and processes.
- Demonstrated experience with producing and editing work product documents with accuracy.
- Well organized with ability to multitask between several projects delegated by multiple parties.

Hours: This is a non-exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 5:00 am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor, with a minimum thirty-minute and maximum one-hour break for lunch, and two rest breaks.
