Construction Equipment Yardman

Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a Yardman.

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful professionals.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a hard-working individual that is able to complete all physical tasks while embracing customer satisfaction. A Yardman must be able to effectively communicate any issues or questions to management and peers. Cleveland Brothers will be dependent on the Yardman to prepare and ensure quality of equipment for customers. This individual must be open to potential overtime and occasional weekend call-ins.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading equipment and attachments
• Maintain and repairing equipment and attachment inventory
• Claims inventory recordkeeping
• Assembling and disassembly of equipment
• Yard housekeeping
• Quick rent inspections
• Other related assignments as determined by management
• The incumbent must maintain the main shop's minimum hand tool requirement

Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications

• A thorough knowledge and understanding of the operation of all tyles of earthmoving, paving, and material handling equipment (for Caterpillar and related products)
• The ability to safety load and unload this equipment
• Proven mechanical skills to assemble and disassemble equipment
• The necessary skills to successfully diagnose and repaire inoperative equipment
• The ability to maintain and manage inventory
• The human relations skills, abilities and personality to successfully communicate and problem solve with customers and/or drivers
• Customer satisfaction is of primary consideration
