We are inspired by our purpose of Enabling Engineering Breakthrough that Lead to a Better Tomorrow. Provide leadership of Supply Chain Management activities for manufacturing location. Activities may include, but are not limited to, production scheduling, oversight of inventory and impacts of related cash flow, information flow/coordination, and asset management. Scope/Supervision and Interaction: __X__ Has Direct Work with internal key stakeholders such as Plant Manager, Business Unit Manager, Buying Team, IT and other appropriate resources to strategically plan/schedule materials to support customers. Matrix management responsibilities with business units and support groups for shipping, receiving, quality and inventory functions. Provide direct leadership and management of production schedulers. Your Main Responsibilities: * Responsible for production scheduling department manufacturing resource planning activities to help achieve sales, ACIP objectives, and maintain 100% on-time customer deliveries * Matrix responsibilities for personnel involved with MRP to achieve/maintain a high degree of data accuracy, integrity, and ownership * Accountable for site/division materials metrics and Standards of Performance * Help define/implement automated systems to support production scheduling needs * Prioritize escalation requests impacting production scheduling needs * Optimize resources, in collaboration with Value Stream Managers, to minimize cell disruptions * Support VMI efforts as needed with Buying Manager * Support internal and external audit requirements relative to Supply Chain scope * Ensure site/division material management policies are aligned with Corp inventory control objectives * Facilitate Corp production scheduling initiatives such as common part numbers, VMI, supplier scorecard feedback, etc. * Prepare and manage department budget(s) within established guidelines * Actively support and implement LEAN principles, kanban, MRP II techniques, cost reduction programs, etc. * Provide professional development for direct reports; explain and enforce adherence to policies and procedures We are looking for talent with: * 5 years minimum of hands-on experience in production planning/scheduling and/or materials management in a world-class, high volume manufacturing environment * 4-year college degree in supply chain, business or engineering required * Experience in supply chain management, cash flow, asset management, JIT, cellular manufacturing * Highly analytical and detail-oriented for tracking data, resource management, etc. * Proficient in ERP (SAP preferred) platforms and MRP II methodologies * Technical knowledge required to understand business processes and recommend proper automation * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to foster effective stakeholder collaboration * Extensive knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g. spreadsheets, word processing, databases, presentations) * Certifications preferred - APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CPSM * SAP and scheduling software experience a plus Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule Competitive Compensation
