Position Title: Quoting / Sourcing Specialist
Wage: $21.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm Join a growing team in Cedar Rapids, IA as a Quoting / Sourcing Specialist where you'll use your blueprint-reading skills to prepare quotes, source materials, and support new and existing business opportunities. Quoting / Sourcing Specialist Responsibilities: - Review drawings, blueprints, and specifications to prepare accurate customer quotes - Source materials, components, products, and outside services from suppliers - Request and compare supplier pricing, lead times, and availability - Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments regarding quote requirements - Maintain accurate quoting, sourcing, and supplier documentation - Support the Sales Team with new and existing business opportunities Requirements for Quoting / Sourcing Specialist: - 1-2 years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or technical documentation preferred - Previous quoting, sourcing, purchasing, manufacturing, or sales-support experience preferred - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with pricing, measurements, and specifications - Strong organizational and communication skills - Basic to intermediate computer skills - Ability to manage multiple quotes and deadlines at once IND091 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
