TITLE: Winder Operator C

POSITION OBJECTIVE: To learn fundamentals of the process while assisting machine operators while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good oral /written communication skills
• Computing knowledge

• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.

• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Any supplemental responsibilities as determined by supervision.
• Assist adjoining line if necessary
• Maintain equipment, notifying supervisor or Senior Extrusion Technician / Lead of any maintenance issues requiring immediate attention
• Slab rolls, load scrap unwinder, and grind scrap.
• Quality testing / data entry
• Overtime as required
• Strive to achieve departmental production and quality objectives
• Comply with company recycling policy
• Comply with all Plant Safety and Product Safety requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Manufacturing Environment
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
• Loud noise
