Lead Scrum Master

What You'll Do

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives for multiple Agile teams.

• Coach teams to become self-organized, high-performing, and continuously improving.

• Promote Agile best practices and foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability.

• Remove impediments, minimize external distractions, and help teams maintain a sustainable pace of delivery.

• Monitor delivery metrics and team performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Capture, maintain, and report key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Support PI Planning, release planning, and deployment activities within a SAFe environment.

• Mentor and support Scrum Masters through Communities of Practice, onboarding, and training programs.

• Help launch new Scrum teams and provide coaching to teams at varying levels of Agile maturity.

• Lead best-practice forums and Agile knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization.

What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 5+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master.

• Experience supporting distributed, offshore, or remote teams.

• Experience managing multiple Scrum teams simultaneously.

• Strong knowledge of SAFe, Agile principles, Scrum frameworks, and PI Planning.

• Experience writing and analyzing SQL queries.

• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and modern software delivery processes.

• Knowledge of Agile engineering practices including BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and Automated Testing.

• Strong communication, facilitation, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in complex environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Scrum Master certification or advanced SAFe certification.

• Knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Kanban and Extreme Programming (XP).

• Experience within healthcare technology, claims processing, or healthcare operations.

• Experience developing Agile training, onboarding, or coaching programs.

• Proven success leading enterprise Agile transformation initiatives.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $120,000-$140,000 per year. Actual compensation is based on experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation and benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and bonus opportunities.
