Bring your clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to continuity of care to a role where expert nursing coordination directly supports patients managing complex endocrine and metabolic conditions. As an RN Care Coordinator with UVA Health's Fontaine Endocrine Clinic, you will help patients navigate ongoing care for diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, bone health, gender health, and general endocrine disorders. This full-time, salaried opportunity combines ambulatory nursing, interdisciplinary collaboration, and hybrid flexibility within a cohesive and supportive team. The typical schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no on-call requirement. Occasional coverage may require hours of 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The role typically includes one remote workday per week, with the potential for additional remote flexibility when staffing permits. The Role You will serve as a key clinical connection among patients, providers, nurses, and the clinic's access team. Using strong assessment skills and sound clinical judgment, you will manage patient needs remotely and in the ambulatory setting while helping ensure timely, coordinated care. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program. Experience: 1 year of registered nursing experience required, 3 years of related and relevant registered nursing experience strongly preferred. Specialty Board Certification strongly preferred License/Certification: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification is required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases. The pay range for this role is $85,820.80 - $115,793.60 annually.
