Integrated Project Manager (Contract)

Our client is looking for an experienced Integrated Project Manager to help bring clarity, momentum, and thoughtful coordination to high-visibility marketing initiatives. This is an opportunity to partner with a collaborative group of marketing, creative, retail, digital, e-commerce, social, partnerships, and legal stakeholders while helping transform ambitious ideas into well-organized, successful launches.

  • This opportunity is remote-capable, with preference for candidates located in Portland, OR or New York City, NY.
  • The anticipated schedule is approximately 20 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through December 18, 2026.

Job Description

In this role, you will lead integrated marketing projects and ensure cross-functional initiatives move efficiently from intake through launch.

Partner with marketing, creative, retail, B2B, e-commerce, social, partnerships, legal, external agencies, vendors, and regional or global stakeholders to establish alignment, clarify scope, manage dependencies, and achieve key campaign and commercial deliverables. This includes leading Tier 2-4 integrated marketing projects such as regional B2B campaigns, retail-partner activations, digital initiatives, and broader commercial moments.

Turn incoming requests into actionable project plans, including scopes of work, milestones, project owners, workback schedules, resourcing needs, approval paths, risks, and dependencies. You will ensure briefs are complete and aligned before work progresses into creative development or production.

You will also maintain project visibility through clear status updates, project meetings, and project-management platforms. Additional responsibilities may include supporting agency and vendor coordination, creative outsourcing, RFP processes, budget tracking, project debriefs, and post-launch learnings, supporting the marketing organization's overall success and team collaboration.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, project management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Background in integrated marketing, agency account or project management, brand marketing, retail marketing, digital marketing, or creative operations
  • Experience leading complex, cross-channel marketing campaigns, commercial activations, and diverse creative deliverables across digital, print, retail, spatial, experiential, and campaign channels
  • Experience working with agencies, external vendors, creative outsourcing, and RFP processes is preferred

Our Ideal Candidate

5+ years of experience in project management within an agency, brand, retail, or integrated marketing environment

Passion for integrated marketing and campaign delivery, with a strong foundation in cross-functional project planning, stakeholder alignment, and workflow management

Proficient in Asana, Jira, or comparable project-management tools, with strong scheduling, prioritization, risk-management, and communication skills

Familiar with integrated campaign workflows, creative-development processes, approval structures, agency and vendor coordination, and RFP processes

Skilled in collaborating with marketing, creative, retail, B2B, e-commerce, social, partnerships, legal, agency, vendor, and regional or global teams

Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, stakeholder needs, and project dependencies

Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguity into practical project plans, clear ownership, actionable next steps, and measurable progress

Strong facilitation, conflict-resolution, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in fast-moving environments

The pay for this W-2 position is $48.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length-of-service and hours requirements.
