Description

General Purpose

The Mobile Trainer will facilitate training for new employees and the retail front line staff. They will aide in the development of training programs that will translate into the development of internal staff and create a competent and engaged workforce. This position will travel across all Regions as needed.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Travels to Alpine Bank Training Facilities to deliver trainings, such as, but not limited to, New Employee Orientation, Teller Training, New Accounts and Advanced New Accounts for the Retail Staff.
  • Travels to Alpine Bank locations in multiple regions to deliver training and perform other duties as required.
  • Aides in the development of New Employee Orientation, Teller Training, New Accounts, Advanced New Accounts and Customer Service Training.
  • Assists in the updating of materials and processes for Alpine Bank's systems.
  • Communicates with Training Management on problem solving, systems updates and new processes.
  • Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required as an essential function of this position.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:



  • A Customer Service oriented individual.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with a team.
  • Knowledge of Operational and some Lending Banking systems a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel and eLearning software.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and organization.
  • Demonstrates motivation to initiate work; is a self-starter.
  • Skill in understanding customer needs and delivering unsurpassed customer service.
  • Ability to effectively influence actions and opinions of others.
  • Ability to create learning activities in a way that makes the most of the learning experience by using critical thinking.
  • Ability to engage Trainees in a collaborative learning environment.
  • Adapt quickly to different learning styles and experience levels of the class.
  • A love of learning and sharing knowledge with others.
  • Understanding and application of banking compliance regulations.
  • Knowledge of Customer Service Representative and Personal Banking Representative duties, set-up, and processes.
  • Basic mathematical and cash handling skills.


Education or Formal Training:



  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent required.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Colorado Drivers' License is required.


Experience:



  • Two (2) or more years of related experience within a professional environment.
  • Previous experience in a bank or financial institution highly desired.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis.



Working Conditions

Working Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, and multifunction printers.

May include prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment. May include some evening hours. The Training Facilities hours are typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday - Friday. Travel to all Training Facilities and bank locations will be required.

Physical Activities:

These are representative of those which must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. May spend significant time doing computer work. Physical demands of standing for long periods of time, good eyesight and hand/finger dexterity, and ability to remain calm and professional with upset customers. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Employee also may have to lift up to 50 pounds. Repetitive motion likely. Travel to all Alpine Bank Training Facilities and locations is required.

Starting Rate of Pay $22.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
