SUMMARY OF POSITION: Prepare internal and external orders for the coating process by setting up and monitoring the coating machines. As part of their primary responsibilities, this individual will also be responsible for processing orders according to order routing, preparation of coating system, loading and unloading coating chamber, and performing preventative maintenance. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES: Visually inspects product for unacceptable coating conditions. Loads product into coating fixtures, onto carousel and into coating chamber following production routing, customer specifications and manufacturing prints. Visually inspects loads and maintains process control on equipment prior to loading. Prepare coating chambe. Input coating program for process. Inspect finished product to verify quality coating. Post all performed operations into SAP and manually sign off to verify completion of task. Maintain organization and cleanliness of workstation and equipment. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Perform other related duties as assigned. SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions such as S.O.P.'s, work instructions, technical documents, and manufacturing prints.
