Clinical Outreach Liaison- IOP Mental Health

Through clinically informed community outreach and referral engagement. This role is responsible for the execution of outreach activities with a strong clinical lens, ensuring referral partners are supported in identifying appropriate level-of-care placements. Working within established outreach priorities, the Liaison will serve as a clinical resource in the community, helping bridge gaps between providers and treatment services.

This is a field-based, externally focused role and does not include responsibility for internal program operations, staffing, or clinical service delivery. This position may entail evening and/or weekend hours as needed for community events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute assigned outreach plans with a focus on clinically appropriate referral development
  • Build and maintain relationships with referral partners, including therapists, psychiatrists, hospitals, and community providers
  • Conduct regular in-person outreach, meetings, and follow-ups to maintain strong community presence
  • Collaborate with Admissions and clinical teams to support appropriate and timely referral transitions
  • Track outreach activity and referral trends to support consistency and follow-through

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a behavioral health field preferred
  • Active licensure or registration strongly preferred
  • 1-3+ years of experience in behavioral health (clinical, case management, or utilization review experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health diagnoses and levels of care (IOP/PHP/residential)
  • Established relationships within the behavioral health community
  • Experience with CRM or referral tracking systems
