Summary:

The Pineland Lane Manager is assigned to a Robin Sage or 18A training lane. The Lane Manager supports the assigned Cadre Team in both garrison and field environments, provides continuity for lane operations, assists with unconventional warfare (UW) and irregular warfare (IW) scenario development, supervises contracted role players, and supports the safe and effective execution of training.

Job Duties:

* Serve as an assistant to the Cadre Team assigned to the training lane and operate in both garrison and field environments in accordance with the Robin Sage / Pineland scenario and applicable country studies.

* Support UW and IW training scenario development, including scripts and Desired Student Responses/Objectives in accordance with the Program of Instruction and doctrine.

* Provide operational and support continuity for the assigned lane during Cadre change-over and assist with area development and maintenance of land-use agreements when Government representation is present.

* Assist Cadre in training students in active and support roles and manage contracted role players assigned to the lane, including G-Chief, OPFOR, and Guerrilla Force personnel.

* During CULEX, in-process and prepare contracted role players; support deployment into sector and establishment of Guerrilla, Cadre, and OPFOR camps; report personnel status to Field Team leadership; and establish/operate the lane OPCEN to battle-track operations.

* Coordinate auxiliary transportation, facilities, adjunct role players, ammunition, pyrotechnics, weapons, sensitive items, and other lane administrative requirements as directed by Cadre.

* Attend Cadre Team briefings before operations, back brief proposed role-playing details, and adjust role-playing execution in accordance with Cadre decisions.

* Support Guerrilla and OPFOR reception, post-operation activities, After Action Reports/Post Instructional Conferences, weapons maintenance, training-site upkeep, role-player scheduling, and land-use coordination.

* Develop and maintain continuity products and assist Cadre with scenario briefs, training schedules, transportation requests, air support requests, weapons requests, and supply requests.

* Assist with classroom, field, and Robin Sage training; support safety oversight and halt training when an unsafe act is observed.

* Support the health, welfare, safety, accountability, and administrative management of contracted role players and associated equipment and sensitive items.

Basic Qualifications:

* Army qualified, in good standing, 18 series Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience.

* Current and valid SECRET security clearance.

Other Requirements:

Performance Location: Exercise-dependent Robin Sage and 18A training lanes in Pineland / central North Carolina; work may include Camp Mackall, Fort Bragg, and other Government-designated exercise locations as applicable.

Information Assurance Technician Level I

Working Environment:

The position functions in both garrison and field environments throughout the Pineland training area. Duties may involve outdoor field conditions, variable exercise schedules, limited-visibility periods, weekends, federal holidays, movement between training sites, and interaction with role players, Cadre, civilian supporters, and Government personnel.
