SUMMARY
The Associate Commercial Manager (ACM) will be critical in facilitating communication and activities between customer service, sales, assembly, and warehouse operations. The ACM will focus on ensuring high customer satisfaction by consistently monitoring incoming orders/demand and supporting assembly, allocation, and fulfillment activities. This may include allocating products to orders, releasing orders to the warehouse for picking and fulfillment, and planning and directing assembly production orders. It will also involve supporting customer service in answering customer questions related to backorders and lead times and coordinating with procurement and assembly to get answers. Finally, the ACM may assist the commercial management team with several reporting requirements.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
This is not an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities. Projects/duties may be modified/changed/added/deleted as needed.
- Assist and advise in planning efforts for manufacturing/assembly operations to ensure customer needs are met for assembled items.
- Support inventory availability and allocations for manufacturing/assembly activities, including managing safety stock and segregating inventory for assembly needs.
- Learn, maintain, and advise on inputs and outputs of the Build Advisor tool for production planning and monitoring activities.
- Support coordination with the Purchasing Manager and Customer Service personnel to meet product shipment requirements to minimize and prevent back orders to our External Customers regarding requirements and shipment dates.
- Support coordination and planning with the Warehouse Ops team regarding order priority and allocation of existing inventory, inbound product, and production receipts.
- Maintain, execute, and expand processes and procedures related to our Quality System, SOX compliance, and ISO compliance.
- Support inventory control activities and process improvement efforts, including support of product expiration dating maintenance and segregation of inventory according to Product Management directives.
- Support and facilitate internal product requests for both on-hand items and items requiring assembly.
- Support completion of all data summary tasks and reporting duties.
- As business needs fluctuate due to market trends or sales activities, support the commercial manager's workload and assist with other operational needs in assembly, warehouse, and PM.

AUTHORITY
- Executes inventory allocation, order priority and order release.
ACCOUNTABILITY
- Ensure the Assembly is adequately informed of demand needs and priorities.
- Ensure that inventory is allocated, and orders are prioritized and released as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in business and/or related field is preferred.
Experience:
- 1 - 3 years' experience in a similar role/environment is required.
- Experience with inventory and business workflows required.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Outlook and Excel, required.
- Experience and proficiency with ERP systems required.

DEMANDS
Time and Availability
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours each week from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. or some variation thereof
