Posting Summary
The Division of Life Sciences, Rutgers, The State University, Piscataway/New Brunswick campus, has an opening for non-tenure track CY Associate Teaching Professor. The Teaching Professor will serve as the Director of Introductory Biology Programs with responsibility for overseeing our large General Biology courses along with the Prep for General Biology and the Bio Practice Group courses. The Director works with the faculty teaching in the introductory courses to guide curricular development, supervise administrative staff, manage course budgets, review the course schedule, coordinate the assessment, and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and partners in undergraduate instruction. In addition, as a Teaching Professor, it is expected that the candidate will teach two courses in both the fall and spring as well as have teaching responsibility in the summer.
