LOCATION: Wilmington OH Airpark

Keep the Airport Moving When Winter Hits
When snow and ice arrive, your work helps keep the airpark safe, accessible, and operational.
We are looking for dependable, safety-focused individuals to join our Winter Operations Team as Seasonal Snow Removal employees. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating equipment, and being part of a team that plays an essential role during winter weather events.
You don't need to sit behind a desk to make an impact. When a storm hits, you'll be part of the team that gets the airport back in shape.
What You'll Do

  • Respond to winter weather events on an on-call basis

  • Operate snow-removal and winter maintenance equipment to clear airport runways, roadways, sidewalks, and other designated areas

  • Work safely and efficiently as part of a coordinated Winter Operations Team

  • Help keep critical airpark areas accessible throughout snow and ice events

  • Work extended shifts when needed, including 12-hour shifts and multi-day storm operations

  • Perform post-storm cleanup and help return equipment and work areas to operational readiness

  • Inspect and care for equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns

  • Follow established safety procedures while working around aircraft, vehicles, equipment, and other airport operations

  • Work effectively in cold temperatures, snow, ice, wind, and reduced visibility

Why You'll Want to Join Us
Earn $20/hour while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
This is more than a typical seasonal outdoor job. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Operate specialized snow-removal equipment

  • Gain experience in an airpark operations environment

  • Work as part of a team during high-priority weather events

  • Pick up significant hours when winter weather requires extended operations

  • Build experience that can translate into future opportunities in airport operations, equipment operation, facilities, transportation, and maintenance

  • Be part of a team where your work has a direct and immediate impact on safety and operations

What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are:

  • Reliable and willing to respond when winter weather strikes

  • Comfortable working outdoors in challenging winter conditions

  • Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions and established procedures

  • Comfortable operating or learning to operate equipment

  • Able to work independently while also being a strong team member

  • Physically capable of working outdoors for extended periods

  • Available for extended shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and multi-day weather events when required

  • Experience operating snow-removal, landscaping, construction, agricultural, municipal, or other heavy equipment is a plus-but we're interested in dependable people who are willing to learn.

The Schedule
This is a seasonal, on-call position based on winter weather conditions.
When a storm is approaching, team members may be called in to support airpark operations. Shifts can last up to 12 hours, and significant storms may require extended or multi-day operations.
The nature of the position means flexibility, availability and dependability during winter weather events are essential.

The Bottom Line
$20/hour. Hands-on equipment operation. Outdoor work. A critical role in keeping the airport safe and operational.
If you're someone who would rather work with equipment than sit behind a desk, takes pride in being dependable, and wants to be part of a team that matters when winter weather hits, we'd like to hear from you.
