Data Center Cable Technician Location: Gallatin, TN Schedule: * Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM * Friday & Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Employment Type: Contract Job Overview We are seeking Cable Technicians to support ongoing infrastructure projects in a large-scale data center environment. We are interested in candidates with experience in structured cabling, data centers, electrical work, low voltage systems, telecommunications, construction, or other hands-on trades. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working on critical technology infrastructure projects while developing technical skills in a fast-growing industry. Responsibilities * Pull, route, and secure copper and fiber optic cabling * Install cable tray, ladder rack, fiber runway, and other cable support systems * Assist with rack and cabinet installations * Support network infrastructure installations and upgrades * Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation documentation * Label, organize, and maintain cabling according to project standards * Follow all safety procedures and site requirements * Maintain a clean and organized work environment * Work collaboratively with team members to complete project milestones Required Qualifications * Experience in one or more of the following: * Structured cabling * Data center environments * Electrical work * Low voltage installation * Telecommunications * Commercial construction * Industrial or mechanical work * Ability to use hand and power tools safely * Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in a physically demanding environment * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds * Strong work ethic and reliability * Ability to work well on a team Preferred Qualifications * CAT5e/CAT6 installation experience * Fiber optic cabling experience * Data center installation experience * Rack and stack experience * Cable tray or ladder rack installation experience * Experience reading construction drawings or blueprints Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Gallatin, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
