Job Description Overview

BlueWater Federal is looking for Senior C4A/Engineering SME to support the Joint Staff J6 Coalition Interoperability Assurance and Validation Office.

The mission focuses on improving interoperability between U.S. forces, Combatant Commands, Services, Agencies, and coalition mission partners through Mission Partner Environment (MPE) assessments, interoperability analysis, testing, standards evaluation, and coalition information-sharing initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Provide senior level management of planning, preparation, research, coordination and execution of C4A and engineering-related tasks, providing analysis and expertise.
  • Develop and deliver detailed analytical reports, procedural workflow visualization products, and briefings.
  • Conduct testing activities as required.
  • Conduct internal training aligned to subject matter expertise.
  • Support sustainment efforts to ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and productivity in all assigned tasks.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years supporting military operational activities; minimum 5 years C4A/Engineering experience
  • Must have an active TS with SCI eligibility
  • Experience managing IT for diverse networks, including DOW operational unclassified and classified networks, secret-releasable environments with coalition partners, and research, development, testing and evaluation (RDT&E) network environments.
  • Experience with the full lifecycle of network operations, including network design and implementation, installation and configuration, monitoring and maintenance, security, documentation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience as a Project Engineer, developing project plans, coordinating engineering, design, and implementation teams, solving technical challenges, communicating with stakeholders, managing project schedules, and overseeing engineering activities. Background in developing and executing technical test cases.
  • Experience performing joint/coalition interoperability testing.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and Data-Centric Security (DCS) methodologies for network security design.
