The good-faith pay range for this role is $37,700 - $44,500 year. Actual compensation may vary and may be above the posted range based on factors such as a candidate's skills, experience, education, certifications, and work location.

Jefferson Lab is hiring 2 Communications Office Student Interns.

This is a year-round position for full time undergraduatestudents available to work part-time during fall and spring semesters and full-time during summer semesters.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must be available to work a minimum of 18 hours per week, with the maximum being 20 hours per week during school sessions, and 40 hours per week between school sessions (spring break, summer break, and winter break).


What your job will be like:
Exercise creativity and create engaging content for a wide range of projects to support the communities engaged by Jefferson Lab.
In this job you will:
  • Assist in the development of strategic communications plans.
  • Engage in a wide range of communications efforts while learning the ins and outs of the Communications Office.
  • Assist the Internal Communications Specialist with projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and execute written content for internal and external communications channels, including social media and feature articles.
Experience
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED Full-time college student majoring in Communications, Public Relations, or related major with a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to write lively, accurate and interesting non-fiction content.
  • Can work effectively individually and with a team.
  • Willing to learn and apply new skills.
  • Basic mastery of Microsoft software products.
