GP Government Solutions has an immediate need for a Flightline Instructor - C 130 (FOFA) to support a large aerospace client in Marietta, GA. This is a full-time benefitted position. Job Summary: * Plans, designs, and delivers aircraft maintenance training for C 130 Flightline personnel, supporting factory production employees and field support teams. * Conducts training and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities; continuously improves programs based on data analysis and operating requirements. * Executes and maintains company wide training programs and a comprehensive training and qualification record system. * Responsible for instilling and maintaining process discipline through classroom instruction, shop/lab sessions, hands on Flightline exercises, and simulator training (as required). * Prepares classrooms, sets up training materials and equipment, and maintains all courseware, training aids, and audiovisual tools. * Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accurate, current training content; updates lesson plans to reflect technical changes and emerging requirements. * Interfaces with supervisors to determine training and certification requirements; recommends de certification when performance is substandard or tasks cannot be completed within established parameters. * Identifies training gaps by analyzing present and future operating needs; develops new training materials and supports production operations by determining training needs and delivering effective instruction. Qualifications: * Aircraft maintenance experience on the C 130. * Instructional/classroom training experience delivering C 130 maintenance training. * Proven ability to design and deliver both classroom and practical training programs covering technical aspects of the C 130 aircraft. * Strong knowledge of Flightline processes, including: o AFTO 781 Forms o C 130 Engine Run certified o Towing, jacking, fueling o Egress o Power on procedures o Flightline safety o General ground support equipment o Flight controls o General aircraft servicing o Hydro Mule o Pre flight / Post flight o Safety wire o Non powered AGE o Refuel/Defuel o Landing gear FAM o Foreign object damage prevention Desired Skills: * Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems related to military fighter or airlift aircraft (U 2, F 16, F 22, F 35, C 130J/H). * Experience in aircraft manufacturing training, including Instructional System Design (ISD) concepts; understanding of installation, operational checkout, troubleshooting, and maintenance of aircraft systems (fuel, hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, electrical, propulsion). * Ability to establish and deliver training systems and conduct classroom and practical instruction on installation/removal of components, testing, analysis, rework, adjustment, modification, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems at all levels of manufacturing and final assembly. * Military engine run certification (a plus). * Familiarity with DCMAI 8210.1C for certification course development. * Strong instructor skills, including classroom lecture and lab presentations. * Strong verbal, written, and computer skills. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (a plus). * Experience as an aircraft manufacturing instructor with strong lecturing and hands on coaching skills. * Prior personnel management or leadership experience in an aircraft production environment. * Background in instructional system design (ISD) for aviation training. * Military aviation maintenance or C 130 production experience. * Experience as a C 130 Crew Chief. * Ability to write, edit, and produce technical instruction materials. * Flightline Driver experience (a plus). * F 22 experience (a plus).
