Description

The role provides operational support in the review and monitoring of account activity to help identify potential fraud, risk indicators, and unusual transaction patterns. The role assists with routine investigations and account reviews by gathering information, following established procedures, and escalating concerns to experienced team members for further evaluation and resolution.

Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:

What You'll Do :

  • Reviews account activity, transactions, and system-generated alerts to identify routine risk indicators and potential fraudulent activity.
  • Conducts research using available systems and resources to support the evaluation of account activity and customer transactions.
  • Documents findings, observations, and actions taken in accordance with departmental procedures and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Assists with account reviews to support decisions regarding account status, transaction validity, or other risk-related concerns.
  • Contacts customers through approved channels to verify account activity and support the resolution of routine fraud-related inquiries.
  • Follows established processes to place holds, restrictions, referrals, or other actions as directed and in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Escalates suspicious activity, complex situations, or unresolved issues to senior team members for additional review and decision-making.
  • Maintains accuracy and confidentiality while handling customer information and sensitive account data.
  • Supports team objectives by completing assigned work within established service levels, quality standards, and productivity expectations.
  • Participates in training and development activities to build knowledge of fraud risks, monitoring practices, systems, and regulatory requirements.

Essential Skills:

Education & Experience:

  • Required Education: High school diploma and/or specialized certification
  • Required Experience: 0 - 1 years of relevant experience

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and apply established guidelines consistently.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies, exceptions, or unusual activity.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and internal partners.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and organize information.
  • Ability to learn new systems, tools, and processes in a structured environment.
  • Proficiency with standard business software and data entry applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while receiving guidance and direction from experienced colleagues.

Location:Hillsboro, OR or Marlborough, MA or Rocklin, CA

Target Compensation:$22.60 - $27.16per hour

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8:00 am -5:00pm
