Regions Hospital is seeking a dynamic Charge RN for our busy Postpartum Unit. We have received the highest ranking from the Institute for HealthCare Improvement (IHI) for patient safety. We are proud to be a Baby Friendly Hospital and to support the largest midwife practice in the Twin Cities and note that over half of our deliveries are done by midwives. We work as an interdisciplinary team with physicians, midwives, residents, and students. Our Professional Nursing Practice Model offers patient and family-centered care that maintains an unwavering focus on what matters most: caring and healing at the patient's bedside. As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model, which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice. Our award-winning programs give our patients and their families a place of comfort and healing. We are proud of the care we give each and every patient. Our state-of-the-art Birth Center was built in 2020. Featuring 160,000 square feet - 13 Labor and Delivery rooms, 2 operating rooms, 24 Postpartum rooms, and 7 NICU rooms. The Birth Center at Regions has approximately 2800 births annually with 15-20% of babies requiring some amount of NICU-level care.
